<p><strong>September Marquee Event: Fishing at Jax Beach Pier! No Fishing License Required!</strong></p> <p></p> <p><strong>Event Leaders: Dave/Pam</strong></p> <p></p> <p><strong>WHEN: September 16, starting at 8 AM</strong></p> <p><strong>WHERE: Jax Beach Pier</strong></p> <p></p> <p><strong>Overview</strong></p> <p>The Jax Beach pier is nearly 1/4 mile long, stretching out into the Atlantic Ocean. Whether you are an experienced angler, this is your first time dropping a line in the water, or you want the perfect spot for selfies, group shots, or spectacular views of Jax Beach... this is where we will be, and you should be, too! The venue at Jax Beach Pier offers fishing for locals at a reasonable price of $4 for the entire day, which includes the license to fish on the pier. If you don't own a fishing rod, they have rentals available for $15, plus a fully stocked bait shop with knowledgable folks to help get you rigged for catching a big one! This is a very low key and relaxed environment, suitable for all activity and skill levels.</p> <p></p> <p>Afterwards, we plan to eat lunch together at one of the nearby eating and drinking establishments, and maybe catch some football on the big screen. Don't want to get your hands dirty? Pam has offered to remove any caught fish and even bait your hook for you (thanks Pam!). Maybe you just want to hang out in a cool venue with awesome people?
