What we're doing
The 8 Springs in 8 Miles experience is an 8-mile downriver kayak and paddle trip along the Santa Fe River in High Springs, Florida, offered exclusively by Anderson's Outdoor Adventures. It lets visitors explore multiple freshwater springs, local wildlife, and clear blue runs in a single scenic float.
Trip Details and Logistics
Starting Point: Poe Springs Park (28800 NW 182nd Ave, High Springs, FL), where you pay a $6 park entry fee and check-in.
Ending Point: Santa Fe River Park, where a return shuttle picks up you, your gear, and your watercraft.
Duration: Roughly a few hours to 6 hours depending on how many swimming and floating breaks you take.
Inclusions: Kayak rentals, life jackets, paddles, and the return shuttle service (personal watercraft are also welcome).
